HAS REVIVAL SHIFTED FROM AMERICA TO NIGERIA

Posted by [email protected] on April 13, 2017 at 7:25 AM

Shocking statistics that will make you wonder if God has suddenly become a Nigerian?

Prophet William Branham               Evang. Oral Robert     Bishop Benson Idahosa & Pastor E.A. Adeboye    Pastor W.F. Kumuyi

Watch out for the country called Nigeria, she will teach America Christianity!

These were the words of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke during one of his numerous crusades in the country Nigeria. And it is already happening!

Some call it the American pollution, to others, it is God’s finger come down amidst Nigeria. Some others say it is the transfer and the continuity of the American healing revival to our continent and nation in particular, but one thing that is clear is that the revival fire is burning through the Church of Jesus in Nigeria and the world is feeling it’s impact!

Years back, in a vision, God revealed his agenda concerning the nation Nigeria to a white missionary to Ilesha, the late Pa S.G. Elton, mentor and spiritual father to men like the late Arch bishop Benson Idahosa, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, Brother Gbile Akani and the likes. Pa Elton said that he saw a great revival engulfing the whole Nigeria, starting from the southern part of the nation to all other parts. This revival is what we are experiencing today and the result is that a country once recognized for idolatry practices and witchcraft is now a country fully awakened to the consciousness of the Christian God! Nigeria that was once an unreached country in the continent of Africa today boasts as one of the world’s most evangelized country.

It is possible that some would be in the mist of revival and not recognize it; In the year 1947 when revival broke out in America, it was not quickly recognized as a revival. The world scorned and mocked, the church itself fought against it, but just as all true God-originated revivals of the past prevailed, the American healing revival prevailed. Only posterity many a-times qualifies the greatness of a particular move of God.

The healing and charismatic revival hit the nation of Nigeria some years back and ever since has refused to loosen his vice-like grip on the society at large. The fire that erupted with the coming of the neo-protestant movement popularly known as Pentecostalism did not only gain ground within the establishment but has blazed a trail into the fibers of the Protestant churches, evangelicals, Roman catholic and even the African indigenous churches. Misunderstood at first, resisted and fought against, the fire of this revival opt into every facet of the church in Nigeria and threatens to engulf the very system of believe prevalent aforetime. The force of this eruption leaves one wondering as someone said whether God has suddenly become a Nigerian!

The breath taking wonders of God in Nigeria and through Nigerians around the world is a pivoting fact pointing to the truth that God has come down in the midst of Nigeria like He did in Israel in the time of Moses.
